After disbanding in 1983 due to Miller’s apparently uber bad tinnitus, Mission of Burma reformed in 2002 with a few changes, and once again began to hit the stage, and the studio. Now Miller just rocks these hardcore headphones and looks even more like a badass. Kind of like if a drummer is wearing a cast or something to that effect. They’re such a hardworking band. You can feel it in their music, and their stage presence. A beautiful mix of alt- indie, and post-punk-garage.
They’re playing with locals indie artist Daniel Francis Doyle, and the ever beautifully loud, and slightly metal Ume, who recently found themselves at home in the pages of Nylon magazine. What a great line-up!
