Beck continues his recent collaborative streak by teaming up with country music star Dwight Yoakam.
The pair has been reportedly recording a number of tracks together. Further details regarding the collaboration have yet to be released.
The country performer adds his name to a quickly growing list of artists who have recently teamed up with Beck. His collaborations, including producing albums for Charlotte Gainsbourg, Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth), and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, have even extended beyond the music scene, as Beck will be guest designing the latest issue of Francis Ford Coppola’s literary publication Zoetrope: All-Story.

Additionally, in a recent interview in Spin, Stephan Malkmus reported that Beck is “planning a 60’s-style private press. Limited editions books of writings, drawings, poetry.” Further information on these projects is forthcoming.
