Former Queens of the Stone Age Bassist Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

S.W.A.T. teams surrounded the Hollywood home of Nick Oliveri for five hours, a tense scene that eventually culminated in the arrest of Queens of the Stone Age’s former bassist. His girlfriend, who the police believed was being held hostage, walked away from the scene unhurt.  Damage to Oliveri’s door was most likely extensive since police had to break it down to enter the duplex.
Although charged with felony domestic violence, Oliveri was released after posting $100,000 in bail.

On Tuesday, July 12, S.W.A.T. teams surrounded the Hollywood home of Nick Oliveri for five hours, a tense situation that eventually culminated in the arrest of Queens of the Stone Age’s former bassist.
