St. Vincent Reveals Album Art, Tracklisting, Supporting Tour Dates for Strange Mercy

Self-proclaimed “fearsome shredder” St. Vincent, aka former Polyphonic Spree member Annie Clark, recently revealed more details about her upcoming album, Strange Mercy, along with some supporting tour dates.

Set for a September 13 released via 4AD, Strange Mercy 11 all new tracks (and cover art design) from the multi-instrumentalist.  As reported back in June, the album will feature production help from Grammy nominated producer John Cogleton (Erykah Badu, Modest Mouse) and instrumental work from Brian LeBarton, Daniel Hart and Mackenzie Smith.

To support Strange Mercy’s release, St. Vincent will hit the road for a North American tour starting October 2 in Minneapolis, MN.  She will make her way across the US before wrapping the tour up on November 4 in Boston, MA.

Before her tour kicks off, Clark will give New Yorkers a preview on August 25 at the first ever rooftop concert at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art’ Cantor Roof Garden.
