Initially announced by Richie Furay, the Fall leg of Buffalo Springfield’s reunion tour has been delayed until early next year. No further details about the daily were provided.
Although the band has a turbulent history filled with members simply leaving the band, there is no indication of any internal strife.
The tour has simply been moved, said Richie Furay via Facebook.
However, the cancellation has come as a surprise.
Despite hinting at a Fall tour to Rolling Stone for months no dates had been announced. While speaking with the Rolling Stone at Bonnaroo Furay and Steven Stills indicated the plans for a 30 date Fall tour where in the making, but mentioned no specifics dates and only one venue.
According to digital spy a representative for the band has stated they are excited for the upcoming 2012 dates indicating that details will be provided once they are available.
Reuniting last October for their first performance together since 1968, Buffalo Springfield played a seven day tour ending at Bonnaroo 2011.
