Berlin’s playful IDM duo are set to release, Monkeytown, their first full-length album is four years on October 4 through Monkeytown Records featuring a healthy list of guest appearances.
The full length album features guest appearances from PVT, Anti Pop Consortium and Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke (surprise!). It won’t be the first time the two have collaborated on an album and some of you may remember that Thom also had the duo manipulate one of the tracks on his beloved little solo gem, The Eraser. Monkeytown Records has stated that there will not be any singles leading up to the release of the album although there will be “three or four” singles released once the album is live. The duo has been included on slew of festivals both overseas and in the US including a stop at Lollapalooza and a string of dates on Identity, “the first-ever touring electronic-ONLY music festival to visit major outdoor amphitheaters throughout North America.” Tour dates below.
