Wild Flag Announces North American Tour

In support of their upcoming self-titled debut, available September 13, Wild Flag has announced that they will spend the summer and fall on a North American tour.

The tour will include a date opening for Sonic Youth at Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Waterfront on August 12.

Wild Flag is an all-female supergroup, featuring members of Sleater-Kinney, Quasi, Helium, and the Minders. They first played together in 2009 and debuted as a band last fall.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
