Bumbershoot 2011 Announces Lineup

Seattle’s Bumershoot Music & Arts Festival has announced its final lineup, with headliners Hall & Oates, Wiz Khalifa, Ray LaMontagne & the Pariah Dogs, and Broken Social Scene.

Butthole Surfers, Leon Russell, The Kills, Sharon Van Etten, Minus the Bear, Mavis Staples, Little Dragon, Anti-Flag, The Presidents of the United States of America, Warpaint, School of Seven Bells, PS I Love You, Astronautalis, Toro Y Moi, Das Racist, Vetiver, and YACHT.

Hall & Oates will perform with Fitz & the Tantrums, while Wiz Khalifa will be supported by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Broken Social Scene will perform with The Lonely Forest.

The EMP Sky Church stage will feature acts working with high-end technology and multimedia on the venue’s state-of-the-art screen. A program of late night shows, called Bumbershoot After Dark, will run at EMP’s Exhibition Hall from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
