While reports have been circulating that former White Stripes frontman Jack White has been “in talks” to contribute music to Bobcat Goldthwait’s film adaptation of the Kinks’ 1975 album Schoolboys in Disgrace, a representative for White says it isn’t so.
“Rumors of Jack White’s participation in the film version of the Kinks’ Schoolboys in Disgrace are untrue. Jack White has great respect for The Kinks and the film’s director, Bobcat Goldthwait, but has no plans to record any music for the film as erroneously reported.”
