Rock the Bells is shaping up to be the hip hop festival to beat this summer. Not only will it include full album performances from Nas and Lauryn Hill, but Common, DOOM and Killah Priest were all just added to the lineup.
Common won’t be playing at all four of Rock the Bells’ stops, but when he does, he’ll perform his 2005 album Be in its entirety. In addition, Erykah Badu, who was already announced as a performer, will play all of Baduizm.
The festival dates are as follows:
Los Angeles – August 20th – San Manuel Amphitheater
San Francisco – August 27th – Shoreline Amphitheater
New York – September 3rd – Governor’s Island
Boston – September 10th – TBA
