Lucky for ATX, we’ve seen a whole lot of this band in ’11. They played some awesome sets at SX showcasing material off new album ‘Valley Heart.’ Another new direction in sound for SWR, ‘Valley Heart’ comes four years after previous album ‘This is Forever.’ Although it’s still danceable, the new album’s offerings are much more stripped down, and delicate. Beautifully subtle darkwave echoes and synths. It feels more real, and as if maybe the content is truer to the heart for creators Justin Warfield, and Adam Bravin.

Here’s opportunity to catch them twice in one day! Afterall, SWR is one of those amazing bands that warrants multiple exposure to their great live shows, once is never fun enough. Go dance, brood, smile, lament, open your heart, and have a good time.
