With their current recording sessions coming to a close shortly, Mastodon is gearing up for their Summer tour throughout Europe’s festival season.  While on tour, Mastodon is booked to play at seven separate festivals including every date for this year’s Sonisphere Festival.

The band is at home in Atlanta wrapping up the latest recording sessions with producer Mike Elizondo at Doppler Studios.  Though they have not stated the name of their forthcoming album, they have released the name of two singles expected to be on the album, “Blasteroids,” and, “All The Heavy Lifting.”

Following the close of these sessions the band will take flight for Europe.
