Cibo Matto, made of Miho Hatori and Yuka C. Honda, have announced they have finally reunited.
To celebrate the reunion, the pair will go on two short tours this summer called “YEAH BASICALLY CIBO MATTO”. The first, from June 21st-26th, will be on the West Coast, and the second will be an East Coast/Midwest run from July 11th-20th.
The duo is also working on new songs for an upcoming album which is set to be released I early 2012. These new efforts can be heard on the upcoming tour, but may be streamed on the band’s website as the tour approaches.
Recently, some lucky New Yorkers were able to watch Cibo Matto’s benefit concert for Japan relief. Not only did Hatori and Honda assist the people of their native country, they also proved to fans their amazing talent and chemistry and set the stage for their return.
