Earlier this week, Arcade Fire and The National played their final show of three-night stint at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion in which Fire’s frontman, Win Butler hit the stage singing background on “Start a War”. A clip from the surprising set can seen be at Pitchfork. In addition to this collaboration, Arcade Fire’s Will Butler sang “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” with Marika Shaw during the seventh inning at the Chicago Cubs game.
Both bands will be hitting the tour train pretty hard this summer in promotion for their current projects. Next stop for The National will be in Cincinnati, Ohio at the MusicNOW Festival on May 15, while Arcade Fire will be playing at the Gexa Energy Pavilion tonight, April 30 in Dallas, Texas.
