Noel Gallagher, formerly one half of the genius behind dearly departed Britpop band Oasis, has hinted that he will be writing Manchester City’s FA Cup Final charity song.
According to Gallagher, the Eastlands club called him recently to “bounce a few ideas” off him about a “Band Aid-style” tune.
“If they asked seriously I don’t know. Let’s wait till they ask,” he later told the Daily Star.
