Jenny and Johnny (the duo made up of real-life couple Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice) were another solid edition to day two of Coachella. Jenny and Johnny have a smooth, complementary chemistry. They each have songs where they take turns allowing the other to be the lead, but the best moments are those where they sing in harmony. Humorously, one song even featured thwe chorus, “We’re all stuck out in the desert / and we’re all gonna die.” Just like Jenny Lewis’ solo work, Jenny and Johnny are terrific alt country.
