New York City’s own Interpol took to the main stage as the evening set in and the air began to cool. The band has suffered a mild down stride following their last album and the departure of prominent member bassist Carlos D. The mix of their set was pristine. Sadly, their stage presence was lacking. The band more-or-less stood in place strumming away hardly engaging the crowd. The crowd did enjoy the songs played, but it’s not surprising they’re a few down from headliner this year (they were the penultimate performer before Bjork on the main stage in 2007).
