From the great city of Austin, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears rocked with real soul power. Like a garage rock version of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, BJL & THB, was enough to wake the crowd up. Playing a little looser than some funk outfits in a good way, this band has real potential.
