Kate Bush Gives Details On New LP, Releases First Single

Kate Bush has been dropping hints, but finally tomorrow will reveal that her first LP in six years, Director’s Cut, will be released on May 15th.

The album will be coming out on her own label Fish People Records in collusion with EMI. According to Kate, Director’s Cut will be a reworking of her past catalog songs. She has just released a single from the album which is a remixing and reworking of her 2005 effort ‘Deeper Understanding’.

Not only has she released this redrafted tune but expects to give the world a behind the sounds look at her soul in a new short film.

The video includes appearances from Robbie Coltrane, Frances Barber, Noel Fielding, and Bush’s son Albert. Kate has also annouced that she is working on a new album of raw fresh material. For now fans will have to chew on this track list from Director’s Cut.
