The legendary Elvis Costello joined The Strokes onstage in New York this past Friday at their Madison Square Garden show to perform a three-song opener and the Strokes track “Taken for a Fool” later in the set. Check out the video of the performance after the jump.
That their MSG gig took place on April Fool’s Day was not a fact lost on Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas, who addressed the coincidence when Costello joined the band for “Taken for a Fool.” Costello did the same before his initial three-song opener.
