Timber Timbre Announces New Single, Album

“Black Water” is the name of the first single set to drop from Timber Timbre’s sophomore album, Creep on Creepin’ On. The album will release on April 4.

In addition to core members Taylor Kirk, Mika Posen, and Simon Trottier, acclaimed pianist Mathieu Charbonneau and saxophonist Colin Stetson have contributed to the tracks on the album. Kirk began writing the songs on the record in 2009, while more tracks were assembled last June.

On the album, Kirk said:

“The idea is to make music we love and therefore embrace the risk of sounding like all the music we’ve ever loved, all at once.”

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
