Sad news for the hip hop community today: Nate Dogg, who worked with some of the biggest names in the industry throughout his music career, has passed away at 41. The cause of death is unknown.
Nate Dogg had been suffering from health problems for the last several years – the hip hop star had a stroke in 2007 and another one in 2008.
The rapper appeared on Dr. Dre’s classic album The Chronic, alongside Warren G on the song “Regulate.” He also released a number of solo albums.
According to Nate Dogg’s sibling Samuel, a more formal statement regarding Nate Dogg’s death will be released at a later date.
