Title, Tracklisting for New Foo Fighters Album Revealed

The Foo Fighters have revealed the title and track listing for their upcoming album, set for an April 12th release. Wasting Light will be their seventh full-length studio album.

The first single, “Rope,” will be available on March 1st. Those who opt to pre-order the album on iTunes will be able to download it for free, while others may purchase it as a single.

Wasting Light was recorded in frontman Dave Grohl’s garage, produced by Butch Vig, and mixed by Alan Moulder.

A feature documentary about the Foo Fighters, directed by Academy Award winner James Moll, follows the band from their initial cassette demos to their stadium headlining days. The film provides an in-depth understanding as to why this latest album saw the band members return to basics to record the latest material.

The band also gifted to their fans a video of “White Limo” starring Lemmy Kilmister, Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, and Pat Smear in a spoof on ‘80s hard rock videos.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
