Metallica Heads Back to Studio

Though veteran rockers Metallica will be heading back to the recording studio in May, don’t expect a conventional album to follow. The sessions will produce a “recording project.”

“We want to record it in two weeks,” Kirk Hammett, the band’s guitarist, said in a Rolling Stone interview. “It’s not really 100 percent a Metallica record. It’s more a recording project than a bona fide Metallica.”

He voiced skepticism over the band’s ability to complete recording within the projected timeline, stating, “Whether or not we can pull it off in just two weeks remains to be seen.”

“There’s a really good vibe in the band,” drummer Lars Ulrich said. “We really want to get back to Metallica quickly because we are enjoying it so much right now.”

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
