Guns N’Roses for Halftime Show?

Super Bowl fans could be seeing the original lineup of Guns N’Roses on their big screens next year, as talks with the band are underway.

Sports blogger Kent Sterling claims that sources point to ongoing talks, although frontman Axl Rose has refuted rumors of a reunion.

Still, Sterling wrote that preliminary talks have taken place in the interest of gathering the band for a halftime show.

Talks are still in the very early stages, and it may turn into nothing, but it’s good to know that at least someone is thinking clearly at the NFL,” he wrote.

A Guns N’Roses halftime show would mark the first time the band played together in 12 years. Recently, former guitarist Slash said he would not consider a reunion unless Rose apologized to him first. Slash left the band in 1996.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
