Jonny Greenwood Releases Score for Japanese Film Adaptation “Norwegian Wood”

Last December MXDWN brought you the scoop on Jonny Greenwood’s solo performance for the Japanese film adaptation of Norwegian Wood. Now, we are pleased to announce that Nonesuch records will be releasing the soundtrack in the U.S. on March 8th.

Norwegian Wood was published in 1987 by Haruki Murakami, a popular japanese novelist. Greenwood’s Score was performed by not only the BBC Concert Orchestra, but also the Japan based Emperor Quartet.

The Norwegian Wood soundtrack which also includes three songs form Can will be released as follows:
