It’s been four years since Architecture in Helsinki put out their last album, but that changes this year when the band returns with its fourth album Moment Bends, out May 3 on Cooperative Music USA/Downtown Records.
Recording over a 2 year period in the band’s studio space, Buckingham Palace, the band enlisted long-time friend and collaborator Francois Tetaz to guide them through the record making process, in a “Spiritual healing / co-production / mixing role,” according to a press release. The 11-track album is described as a having a sound akin to “Italia ’82, California ’79, and Melbourne 2011.”
