Here’s an unlikely pairing: Derek Miller of noise poppers Sleigh Bells (Mom + Pop) is reportedly in the studio working with Beyonce (Columbia) and producer Diplo (Mad Decent).
Diplo (who’s produced MIA and is half of the writing team of Major Lazer) said about the collaboration, “Me and Switch [Producer and other half of Major Lazer] were in the studio in NYC trying to make tracks with Derek [Miller, guitarist in Sleigh Bells] and Beyonce last week after we played her team their album.
The producer added that he wasn’t sure if the track was going to get released, or if they were going to finish it. Sleigh Bells confirmed the news on their Twitter but have subsequently erased it.
