R.E.M. Releases Album without Plans for Tour

After touring behind their 2008 Accelerate, R.E.M. has no plans to tour behind their upcoming album, Collapse into Now. The band’s manager, Bertis Downs, explained that the band does not currently have plans to schedule any shows in tandem with the March 8 album release.

While fans might be disappointed by this decision, they will be happy to learn that some of the tracks from Collapse into Now are available to listen to here, and the video for “Überlin” can be viewed here.
