The Strokes (RCA) haven’t put out an album since early 2006, but last year saw the group play couple of shows and now, after a very long wait, fans will be happy to know the group’s new LP, their fourth, has a set-in-stone release date – March 22
Strokes’ bassist Nikolai Fraiture says the album is 10 songs long. The group will also play a handful of dates in 2011, though it wouldn’t be a stretch to guess more are on the docket.
The Strokes’ tour dates are as follows:
3-12 – Las Vegas, NV – The Chelsea – The Cosmopolitan
7-16 – Lisbon, Portugal – Super Bock Super Rock
7-14-17 – Benicassim, Spain – Benicassim Festival
8-13 – Tokyo, Japan – Summer Sonic
8-14 – Osaka, Japan – Summer Sonic
