Grouplove and Cold War Kids to Perform at Bootleg Theater

Grouplove, hot off a series of free shows and recent video premiere, will be performing on January 24 with Long Beach’s Cold War Kids at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

While both bands are California born-and-raised, Cold War Kids have been around a little longer, having formed in 2004 and already releasing their third album, “Mine is Yours”, on January 25, 2011.

Coming a long way from their beginnings—clapping and stomping on the roof of the Mulberry Street restaurant—their tour is set to begin this February.

Before that, however, they will be the secret, surprise guest performers at the January 24 Grouplove show. The Kids’ rhythm-centric feel is sure to fit well with the tone of Grouplove, judging by their newly released single “Colours.”
