As if Earning Best New Music status from Pitchfork magazine and touring the US and Europe wasn’t enough, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart is now announcing spring tour dates. Check out the dates, along with streams of two new tracks from the band, after the jump.
This major spring tour is set to be the living reincarnation of TPOBPAH’s sophomore album Belong.
Due to drop in March, Belong will feature tracks with support bands Twin Shadow (featured on 4AD) and Catwalk (featured on Captured Tracks). Both Twin Shadow and Catwalk will be joining TPOBPAH on tour this Spring. With the help of producer Flood (Smashing Pumpkins, U2, PJ Harvey) and mixer Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Ride) The Pains’s new batch of tunes is sure to ignite the same kind of fire storm.
