February 25, 2011 marks the first time punk band Death will play in California. The historical event will take place at Slim’s in San Francisco California.
Death has impressed many major cities with their raw and honest sound including New York, Chicago, Austin, and their hometown of Detroit. For the first time ever, the band will share their unique take on punk music with live audiences in California.
The band is made up of the three Hackney brothers and has been around since the seventies. They finally broke through to the critics with the release of 2009’s For the Whole World to See… which produced a hard rock sound better accepted in today music market.
Death will release a collection of nine raw demo tracks recorded in the seventies later this month. These songs were recorded over the course of two years and at various recording studios including the legendary United Sounds.
