Roger Waters to Film London Performances of The Wall

Roger Waters will spend lot of 2011 touring Pink Floyd classic The Wall in Europe, but if you didn’t get a chance to catch him in 2010 or will miss a show this year, don’t fret – Waters is filming all six performances of the album at London’s O2 Arena in May.

Though there’s no official confirmation of a live concert film, Waters has announced plans to film all six performances. Furthermore, no flash photography will be allowed during the shows, according to Waters’ website:

Roger Waters will be filming and recording all 6 shows at The O2 Arena in London in May. For these shows, photographs are permitted but we must insist on NO Flash photography. Flash wipes out the images projected on the Wall, which are the most important part of the show. Any person who uses Flash will have their camera confiscated and could be removed from the Arena.”

Many fans have noted that this would be the perfect opportunity for David Gilmour’s promised one-night reunion with Roger Waters, which has yet to happen.
