The dudes from Vampire Weekend (XL Recordings) surely are out celebrating the fact that they put out the 19th best album of 2010, but tomorrow they get back to work by releasing a new 6-song iTunes session.
The session will include four original tracks – “A-Punk” and “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” from the group’s 2008 eponymous LP, and “Cousins” and “Holiday” from this year’s Contra.
The band also recorded two covers – Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m Going Down” and The Honeycombs’ “Have I The Right.” The session, recorded back in September at Avatar Studios in New York City, will be available for $5.94.
