New York Dolls Return with New Album

The New York Dolls are set to drop their fifth full-length record Dancing Backward in High Heels on March 15th. Recorded in Newcastle, England, the album will make its way to shelves via 429 Records.

Dancing Backward in High Heels follows up the 2009 record ‘Cause I Sez So. The New York Dolls formed in 1971 and went on to influence a generation of punk rock and heavy metal bands. The original Dolls lineup recorded only two albums, New York Dolls and Too Much Too Soon before their 1976 breakup. They reunited in 2004 and recorded two records – 2006’s One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This, and 2009’s ‘Cause I Sez So.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
