Wolf Parade Announces Indefinite Hiatus

Despite having released their latest single only last month, Wolf Parade has gone on an indefinite hiatus. Singer/keyboardist Spencer Krug told the audience at their Toronto concert, “This is the last show we’ll play for a long time.”

Singer/guitarist Dan Boeckner later confirmed the news to the band’s unofficial fan site.

The band’s latest album, Expo 86, came out less than six months ago. Though none of the band members have come forward with plans for their musical futures, side projects such as Sunset Rubdown and Frog Eyes make it hard to believe that the music industry has heard the last of these Canadian musicians.

Michelle Rick: I like Pop Rocks, and believe your life is incomplete if you've never seen Forrest Gump. I recently saw the Counting Crows live, for free, and it was not good. I was supposed to interview David Hasselhoff once but he never showed. And I love the band that was once Oasis.
