For those of you wondering what to do right this second and you’re totally broke, go to Brooklyn’s Public Assembly (70 North 6th St.; subway to Marcy Ave J, M, Z or L to Bedford Ave). It’s a totally free concert from noon to 6 (better get there soon) and there’s 15 acts playing including Marnie Sterm and Titus Andronicus. There’s free food AND free alcohol (which means 21+ only, sorry kids). More after the jump.
Below is the lowdown on the schedule. The concert is being co-hosted by Converse who are doing a number of promotional activities at this event and others. Sorry this is so late, hope you get there in time!
