Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Having an Open Mic Night In Anaheim

If you’ve been trying to get the world to listen to your music and Myspace and Soundcloud just aren’t working for you, here’s a sweet chance to get onstage with one of the US’ biggest up-and-coming names in indie folk-pop:  Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are kind enough to share the stage with ten lucky winners on October 26th.  Email your name to info.communitymusic@gmail.com by October 20th and they will announce the randomly selected winners the next day.  The winners will be able to perform a single song at the band’s Anaheim show on the 26th.  Only two people per performance and only whatever equipment you can carry on your back.  Good luck!

Nathaniel Ott Homer: I am a graduate of Vassar College ('10) with a degree in art history. I love making music even though I have no idea how to play an instrument. I like things big, bold, weird and drab. I like things psychotic and wacky, yet sweet and serene and subtle and sincere.
