Lupe Fiasco’s Third Album Announced

Atlantic Records has announced the release of Lupe Fiasco’s newest album, “Lasers,” due out March 8, 2011. This will be the Grammy winner’s third album.

The first single, title track “Lasers,” will be released on the Fiasco’s website October 26th.

Fiasco’s previous album, “Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard rap chart in 2007 and remained there for nine weeks. His premiere album, “Lupe Fiasco’s Food and Liquor,” also spent its first week at #1 on the rap chart.

“Lasers” stands for “Love Always Shines Remember 2 Smile.”
