Jack White Producing Upcoming Wanda Jackson Album

Wanda Jackson, the first-ever female rocker, is working with Jack White on her newest album, The Party Ain’t Over, set to be released January 25th, 2011.  After working together on a single on White’s Third Man Records (2010’s “You Know I’m No Good” / “Shakin’ All Over”), they apparently decided to do a full-length album together.Recorded in Nashville, the album features quite a selection of notable musicians including White himself, Jack Lawrence of The Dead Weather and the Raconteurs, Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, Patrick Keeler of the Raconteurs, Ashley Monroe, Jackson Smith and Karen Elson.  The songs range from early 1900’s classic songs to rock and roll standards.
