Antony and the Johnsons will be performing their only North American show in 2010 at New York City’s Lincoln Center accompanied by the Orchestra of St. Luke’s on October 30th at the famed Alice Tully Hall. Conducted by Rob Moose, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s is 90+ person orchestra based in New York City intent on pursuing many different venues and stylistic choices in their music. To accompany the performance, “Mr. O’s Book of the Dead,” a 1973 film by Chiako Nagano, will be playing. Antony and the Johnsons have declared that their next album, entitled Swanlights will be released on October 12th via Secretly Canadian. A special edition of the album will include a 144-page booklet featuring art by Antony Hegarty. The album-only version contains a bonus track “Flétta,” a collaboration with Björk.
