On a recent US tour, the legendary Melvins incorporated an interesting song choice in their set list at the White Rabbit in San Antonio, TX—Karp’s “Bacon Industry.” Check out the cover after the jump.
Karp, a group that ran from 1990-1998 and featured Melvins bassist Jared Warren, reportedly took their name from the acronym “Kill all redneck pricks”—a slogan reportedly developed by frontman Chris Smith during his high school days.
“Bacon Industry” comes from Karp’s 1997 self-titled release from K Records.
