The Swell Season, fronted by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, have declared that they will be taking some time off to work on individual projects, but they stress that this isn’t the end for the band. They plan to come back and work together in the future. Hansard will tour for bit with his old band, the Frames while rumors of a solo album by Irglova are abound. The hiatus seems to not be due on some part to the tragic events of their recent Saratoga, California show when a fan lept to his death onstage.
