Ted Leo recently refuted the rumor that he was retiring from music, and if he keeps making music videos like “Bottled in Cork,” which debuted this morning on Funny or Die, then we hope he never hangs up his guitar.
In the video for the cut from the band’s new album The Brutalist Bricks, Leo and his band the Pharmacists are approached to star in a punk rock musical a la Green Day’s American Idiot. Numerous stars make cameos, including Best Week Ever host Paul F. Tompkins, “Daily Show” correspondent John Hodgman, Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles, and comedian Julie Klausner. Hilarity ensues.
