Pete Yorn put out two albums in 2009, but it doesn’t appear that the man is about to rest. This September he’ll release a self-titled LP produced by none other than Frank Black.
Pete Yorn will be out Sept. 28 on Vagrant Records. The album was recorded on a whim in 2008 when Yorn got an e-mail from Black (best known for his work with The Pixies) to work on some tunes. They recorded the album’s 11 songs in five days, even though Black had the flu most of the time.
Yorn will tour in the fall, and tour dates will be announced shortly.
