Physicist and indie folkster Jose Gonzalez has announced the release of a new, free EP – “Rope & Summit” – with his band Juniper (Mute Records).
The EP goes on sale on May 25th, but is available for free at the band’s official website. In addition, 12″ records will be sold exclusively at participating indie record stores in June.
In more news, the Gothenburg, Sweden-based band announced the September 14th release of Fields, the band’s first LP. The band has lined up a series of tour dates in conjunction with the release of the album. Following a festival appearance in Spain in May, Juniper will play a brief two-week tour in select U.S. cities before heading back over to Europe for some more festival dates.
