Amanda Palmer, part of the duo that makes up Evelyn Evelyn, will be starring in the American Repertory Theater’s production of Cabaret, a musical that tells the story of 19-year-old cabaret performer employed by the Kit Kat Klub in Berlin during the Nazi Party’s rise to political prominence, beginning this summer. Opening August 31 of this year in Cambridge, Ma, Cabaret will be performed at A.R.T.’s Oberon theater.
“I’m over the moon about being able to use Oberon as an artistic playground this fall…and this project is long-time dream-collision of working on Cabaret and working with Steven Bogart, whose directing genius will finally find the audience it deserves,” said Palmer in a press release regarding the play.
More information can be found on the A.R.T. website.
