Independent music festival Pop Montreal has announce its lineup and initial dates for its 2010 shows, and it looks like another can’t-miss event.
The 9th annual festival, which will take place from September 29th to October 3rd in – where else – Montreal, will feature 370 musical acts. Tops on the list – the return to the stage after 14 years of the legendary post-punk band Swans. Other notable acts – Van Dyke Parks, Deerhoof, Marnie Stern, Liars and Danielson.
More bands will be announced in the lead-up to the festival, in addition to films, late-night after-parties, workshops, art shows and indie craft fairs. We’ll keep you posted.
