In another of many positively daunting large crowds, Phoenix had amassed an unending sea of people at the Outdoor Theatre. In seven years of attendance, never has any band on memory drawn such a monstrous crowd at this stage. This was arguably as large a gathering as Muse had at the Coachella Stage the previous night. Worse yet, once Miike Snow finished their set over at the Mojave Tent, large streams of people began pushing through the crowd. It made for an environment that felt a little less than safe, and rendered it impossible to enjoy Phoenix.
